It is a super small town so I would say 1 day is enough.
It is a super small town so I would say 1 day is enough. We were lucky there was a festival going on otherwise it is really a place to chill and relax providing good weather. Husum is not very large, but large enough to provide...
Husum is not very large, but large enough to provide everything you need. There are good public transport links to many places, at least 3 large supermarkets, a local market on certain days, and plenty of cafes and restaurants. A short climb up the sea wall opposite the hotel leads directly to a lovely circular nature trail. The staff were friendly and helpful, and my room was spacious, comfortable and clean. There was a good choice of food at breakfast. As the hotel is quite isolated, I chose to take my evening meals there and set menu provided a reasonable choice of well prepared dishes. Great selection for breakfast, all freshly prepared and tasty. I especially like the 'Husumer Pannfisch mit Salat' for evening dining in the restaurant. A great location in the centre of Husum - beautiful shops nearby and the beautiful Schloss Garten is only a 2 minute walk away - ideal for an uplifting walk before breakfast. We had a room to the back and not to the street. Really liked the balcony attached to the room and could read up there on the tourist sides of Husum and do the fine-tuning planing our stay in Husum and had a coffee.
