This place is perfect if you need to break up a long drive. Very safe and quit just off the motorway. There is a petrol station just outside as well as a pizzeria that can provide dinner and a bakery that serves breakfast.

Staff were lovely and helpful and provided vegan choices of houmous and olive oil instead of butter - and was great some other sweet choices that we did not need - for breakfast. In addition there were red and yellow peppers, tomatoes, walnuts, pumpkin & chia seeds, oats and sunflower seeds. The houmous was so delicious that we feel sorry for other guests! It could perhaps be offered as standard - the climate crisis necessitates a move away from meat and dairy products, towards plant-based foods.

Such a fun stay at HEF Hotel by WMM Hotels. Super easy check-in and check-out. No waiting times, just a couple of codes and a working system! Awesome! Easy parking on site. The interior was pretty and up tp date. Also loved the big windows!

A relaxing weekend away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life; a retreat with the opportunity for meditation and the like – enjoying a family atmosphere – being looked after by the staff, and the possibility of bringing my dog along – I especially appreciated that. We stayed overnight there on our way to the Ore Mountains.

We stayed overnight there on our way to the Ore Mountains. Gittersdorf is a quiet, peaceful place and obviously offers good hiking opportunities. Bad Hersfeld is also within walking distance, if you wish.

The hotel is in a very quiet location at the edge of town,...

The hotel is in a very quiet location at the edge of town, next to the forest. Breakfast is plentiful and excellent. Lunch and dinner, however, have to be eaten elsewhere, which wasn't a problem for us as we were out cycling all day anyway. The Wi-Fi is rather weak and barely sufficient for streaming.
