Very comfortable and carefully designed boutique hotel in a charming small village A lot of attention to detail, personal stories behind some of the collector items on display Very welcoming, personal host and a warm atmosphere throughout A beautifully restored historic building with a super cosy lounge/breakfast room and modern rooms Amazing breakfast Enclosed parking Although I only stayed only for one night on a stopover, I managed a nice walk through the nearby vineyards (you can buy some local vine from the owner) and along the river Main (good cycle path!) Highly recommend this hotel

Wonderful converted corner house with modern twist and extension. The host, Lena was incredibly helpful, running round the village to find us somewhere to eat when most things are closed on Monday. Visited their family winery for wine tasting session of their produce - informative and tasty.

We were in room 'Zen', one of the theme rooms. It meant that the bed was low, Japanese style. Very nicely designed. Good bathroom, a large ceiling fan, and automatic shutters. Good breakfast. An ideal place for a stop-over, just a short distance from two highways.

This motel has changed my idea of what a motel can be. Brand new, lively colors, spotless clean, comfy beds and towels. Better than a regular 3-star hotel, for a better price too and offering plenty parking space. In the middle of nowhere (outlooking an industry zone and a wasteland - zero noise nuisance!), but close to a town with all the facilities. A modern era concept without any staff but using a digital check-in via sms-code. So no check-out hussle either. Ideal for an overnight stay while driving through Germany.

The hotel is in the beautiful town of Sommerhausen with a great restaurant and a lovely big room . The staff were very friendly with some English . We felt we lucked out as we arrived for their annual town festival . With a Parade down the Main Street and wine tasting.

The hotel is very nicely decorated and has a luxury feel. Parking is convenient and on the grounds of the property. There is no elevator for guest use, but kindly one of the cleaning staff transported our heavy suitcases back down to the ground floor from the 2nd storey using the service elevator. The owner was very pleasant and perhaps a number of the staff could benefit from learning from her.

The hotel is beautifully appointed. The staff were attentive, accommodating and friendly. The breakfast was superb and the house wine exceptional. The mini bar fridge was very reasonably priced which was a lovely surprise and so encouraged hotel guests to use it.

Very friendly welcome by staff in a very special and different hotel, annex winery. Excellent breakfast and a ''simple'' but great evening meal, with plenty of very nice wine choices (it is a winery). Nice quiet village next to the river Main.
