Freinsheim provides a quiet stay in a wine country town, but it also had an excellent outdoor theater production, which is what brought us to the area. It’s in a very quiet old town and everything really looks like in the pictures. You should use this hotel as a base to explore the wine region. The village itself is very small. Since it’s a historic old town, there is no parking right at the hotel, but the hotel has private parking spots outside of the city gates.
