We decided to stay here very spontaneously but we are glad that we did. The room was exactly as pictured and very spacious. Everything was clean! We also enjoyed the balcony. The entire hotel is decorated beautifully and very thought through! You find nice little details all around the place. We also decided to have dinner in the restaurant downstairs and it was delicious!! Service was excellent and attentive. The food was cooked to perfection and the Manager made sure we had the best time. Breakfast in the morning was fresh and offered a wide range of local products. Everything a decent German breakfast should offer was available! Eggs were freshly made in the morning to your liking. Coffee, tea, juice, water everything was available. Service in general was outstanding and very welcoming.

Although, after the reviews, I was skeptical about booking the room, I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the room, the utilities provided (clean, fully equipped kitchen, including coffee machine with capsules included in the room price) and the kindness of the staff, which is note 10. A fantastic, family run hotel in the centre of the Black Forest. Everything was beyond our expectations. The size of the room, the terrace and all the meals. Despite the number of guests, including young children, all was blissfully quiet for the entire day and night. All the staff were first rate in every respect. An added bonus for us, was the light lunch, provided at no extra cost between 1 and 2pm. We cannot fault this hotel and shall return again soon. Wonderful walking from the doorstep or at short distances in every direction.

The room was very spacious and clean. A kettle was lacking in the room but upon request the owner provided with it within few minutes. The bathroom fittings were having a golden finish thereby giving a very luxurious look. Entire staffs and the owner was super friendly and helpful. Another highlight over here was that all the food served here were Bio., hence it gave us the confidence to give the food to our 1 year old baby. All in all , the best thing about the hotel is the quality. You can see that in everything like the food , rooms , cleanliness, service etc.
