    We have travelled to Buccholz in der Nordheide a number of...

    We have travelled to Buccholz in der Nordheide a number of times. It is close to shops, hiking and other attractions. This time we also went for the little Christmas market. It snowed for the entire week which made it lovely! For children, there is an open air museum and a wildlife park locally which are both worth visiting. A car is the easiest way to travel in the area but there is a train station for further afield

    Looks like and old hotel, but we stayed in the newest part. The room was super spacious, in great condition and well appointed. Meals in the restaurant were excellent. Our need to leave early meant we couldn't wait for breakfast, but it was reasonably priced. Very handy for main routes and easy to find.

    I loved the hotel! As a frequent traveler who has visited many places around the world, I can say that this hotel served the best deer steak I've ever had in my life. It was a delightful surprise, especially coming from such a small, quiet place.
