The rooms are clean, beds are good! The bathroom has a good shower ,its a bit small but its fine.They serve breakfast and dinner buffet which are good! The staff is very friendly and helpful. When we left, they gave us a bottle of Mosel wine. By car its 7 km away from Cochem, where you have shops, restaurants, castle and beautiful nature. I really recommend this hotel.

Cozy place in a very cute town. Good views from the window, parking right in front, clean room with nice interior. Also very nice owner who helped me after i forgot my charger in the room. For the price this was one of the best accomodations we stayed in.

This is my second time booking here. Specifically because they were so amazing the first time. The personal touch the owners give when youre staying there is amazing. My mom joined last minute, which wasnt a problem at all. At the dinner reservation they put down a little sign with mother and daughter and our last name. They were always happy and joyful and always had time for a little personal chat. It's lovely to see that it's a real family owned business. Ow and the food was amazing! Im a picky eater, however everything was really tasteful.

The check-in and check out process was very easy. The owner was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean. The breakfast was superb. They have fresh bread and different cheese. They also have an espresso if you love coffee. They have plenty of parking.

Family vacation house on the Mosel

Family vacation house on the Mosel 3 generations of one family (and a dog) – spent here 2 nights in May, 2024. This house is a very good place for family vacation: 3 bedrooms, a kitchen with a dinner table, a living room and 2 good bathrooms. Pet-friendly – this is fortunately typical for Germany. Distances: ~ 100m from Mosel. ~ 1.3 km to Edeka supermarket, ~ 7 km to Cochem center. There are also 2 minor “cons”: no dishwash machine and no Mosel view. Friendly host. Recommended for family vacation.

Our stay(3 nights) at this property in the Mosel Valley region was truly exceptional. The location was ideal for exploring the area's beautiful attractions and landmarks, with Cochem town and various tourist spots all within an hour's drive. The house itself was immaculate, with clean and tidy interiors that made us feel right at home. The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We truly enjoyed our time here and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient getaway in the Mosel Valley.

Pictoresque small town.

Pictoresque small town. Wonderful location at the bank of the river. One nice restaurant, one very efficient Turkisch type bar with tasty meals. One bakkery. Excursion ships stop there few times a day.

Bruttig-Fankel is a lovely little town on the Mosel.

Bruttig-Fankel is a lovely little town on the Mosel. Many Weinguts to visit, and good choices for food. Very quiet in the evening, with hardly any traffic. It would be a great location as your base to explore the area by bike, close to a bridge to visit the other side, and there is also a ferry stop.

We were passing through in mid-November during our hike...

We were passing through in mid-November during our hike along the Moselsteig. Almost everything was closed, so we could stay at the only guesthouse that was open, and the same was true for dinner. Only a kebab shop was open.

A very pleasant stay in a beautifully maintained and very clean apartment. Although we didn't meet the owner, everything was clearly arranged via email. And a welcome bottle of wine was also a nice touch.

Once we'd found the way in the hotel couldn't have been nicer. The room in the front with veranda was more than adequate with excellent views over the river and surrounding country side. Mein hosts were helpful and provided a comprehensive breakfast which set us up for the day. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom well provided for. Despite being on a "main" road there was not a lot of traffic noise, especially at night which made for peaceful sleeping.

The location was perfect, as all the major tourist attractions were just an hour's drive away, and Cochem town was a mere 10 minutes away. This made it an ideal base for exploring the area. Not only was the location great, but the stay was comfortable, and the host was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Overall, I had an excellent experience and would recommend this property to others.

The location is great, close to Cochem and the Geierlay bridge. Nice and clean apartment with a cute garden. Parking is easy, just in front of the apartment. Pet friendly.
