Total kitchenette including oven, free parking, patio and pets ok (small fee). Great hopping off point for lower Barvaria/Salzburg area. Town is tiny but cute with many friendly cats. ;) Netto less than 3 km away. Would be difficult to reach the guesthouse without a car, but that’s typical for this area.

The location was super convenient - in addition to being in a beautiful part of the country. With a bus stop across the road we were able to go to Salzburg easily. The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was great

The general athmosphere is characterized by flexibility and an easy-going vibe, but this does not come at the expense of professionalism, but actually makes the stay perfect. This is a wonderful hotel in a quiet location with the most amazing views of the surrounding mountains. We flew into Salzburg and hired a car to drive the 20 minutes to the hotel. The drive was easy and the views were stunning. The hotel is walking distance to Freilassing train station too. The location was perfect for driving through the mountains to visit Berchtesgaden, the Eagle's Nest and Lake Koniggsee, all of which we saw in 1 day. We were given a very warm welcome on arrival and were informed that the restaurant was still open for dinner. The restaurant needs it's own review because it was one of the best meals we had on our trip! The room was the biggest and most functional room we had throughout Europe. There was loads of storage, a nice hot shower of a decent size and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was included with the room and had the most amazing variety on offer.

Anger is perfectly situated for hiking.

Anger is perfectly situated for hiking. Everything in the surrounding area, such as Teisendorf with its brewery (open for tours) and Bad Reichenhall with its beautiful spa gardens and charming pedestrian zone, is just a few minutes away by car. A visit to the top of the Jenner mountain is also highly recommended.

Centrally located.

Centrally located. Many attractions are easily accessible by car, such as Salzburg, Bad Reichenhall, Berchtesgaden, and the Kehlsteinhaus (Eagle's Nest) with its impressive documentation center. The toll road up to the Grossglockner is definitely worth a drive.

The room was functional and very clean.

The room was functional and very clean. Breakfast was excellent, and personal requests were accommodated. They also provided tips for hikes and local attractions. A cozy, family-run accommodation. I felt very welcome.

A very beautiful place. Great paths for walking.

A very beautiful place. Great paths for walking. Charming shop (for everything from curtains, tablecloths, toys, household goods, souvenirs to halters). A great base for visiting Salzburg or the lakes. Be careful, the motorway exit and entrance are extremely short.

It's a complete disaster and we would never recommend this...

It's a complete disaster and we would never recommend this hotel. It's not at all as it appears in the pictures. The bar is closed; you have to cross a road from one building to another to get to the spa area. It's all a sham.

We booked the apartment of the hotel since we were 3 adults and they did not have availability. Language is a problem as only 1 reception staff handled us due to the remaining did not speak any English. We had dinner set menu on Saturday which was delicious, the restaurant where amazing and served us with great smile. The only issue was that they do not have English menu which I find it very upsetting in a 4 star hotel. We had an issue with the electricity which was resolved very quickly when reported. The location is quiet and nice.

Location was amazing. Host's were very kind and informative. Rooms were quite spacious. Kitchen had all the necessary equipment's. Cleanliness was good. Views from hotel were just amazing . Very quite and calm place. Beautiful garden. I stayed for 5 nights and did all my day trips from here both in Germany and Salzburg Austria.

Since Klosterwirt does not offer breakfast you get directed to their main hotel and spa approx 10 km away where you can buy a hearty buffet breakfast with anything your heart can wish for. It'll get you going until dinner.
