The Great North is a true gem! The revamped interior is stunning, from rooms to restaurant, with beautiful decor in every corner, impressive photography on the walls, and gorgeous lighting fixtures - truly reminiscent of the most stylish hotels in metropolitan cities. The gardens are gorgeous, the staff warm and welcoming, and even our 6-year-old felt at home everywhere. Dinner was delicious with the right variety of tasty, locally-sourced dishes, and the breakfast buffet was a feast — fresh, diverse, including a juice maker and cooked-to-order eggs. Our beds were super comfortable, even the fold-out one for our daughter. The indoor walkway to the thermal baths was a welcome convenience, and we had a great time playing in the water and relaxing at the exceptional sauna & spa. Stylish, friendly, and perfectly relaxing, with exceptional attention to every detail — we’ll be back!

- Great location for a stop otw between Austria and Sweden - parking was on site - Excellent bathroom with bath, shower, toilet etc and it was massive! - Given the price and classification we were positively surprised - We didn’t try the breakfast

I came late afternoon and had to call the receptionist who came immediately and gave me the room keys. I has a pleasant night in a comfortable bed; the bathroom was clean and I had enough towels. Checkout was very easy - so all fine.
