I´ve been on a motorcycle trip throughout Czech Republik and this premise has been my fourth stay.The very stylish hotel is quite newly arranged or at least renovated. The check-in (performed by a really beautiful young lady by the way) was very professional (maybe also due to the fact, that there has to be done an online-check-in in advance - just after booking). The hotel-owned parking lot was just on the opposite side of the street in comfortably walking disitance - so even getting the stuff from the cycle to the room was no complicated mission like it is in other city-hotels. My room was very nicely equipped and could be reached through a beautiful garden in the open hallway. I really liked this way to get to my room. In the evening I had dinner in the Restaurant belonging to the hotel, which is situated in the same building. It´s called the "Crazy Chicken" and served dinner (the mushroom soup was heavenly!) in a perfect way, offered marvellous czech beer and reasonable prices! The breakfast the mornig after a good night of sleep was also super and plenty! I was b y f a r the best stay during my motorcycle-trip in 2023 and maybe also the best stay in CZ during the years I travel this beautiful country by motorcycle.

We found this hotel quite by chance when we were traveling by motorcycle from Finland to Italy. When we returned from Italy, we definitely wanted to stay at this hotel. We had an absolutely incredible room. The room had a jacuzzi, a separate shower, and a separate toilet. There was also a small extra room where we could store all our motorcycle riding gear. The hotel restaurant is excellent, so there is no need to go into town to find somewhere else to eat. There is plenty of parking space in the courtyard.

The room was very spacious and sparkling clean, the mattress was really comfy. All facilities were new. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choices (vegetarian included). We were able to check in very late and the staff was helpful. There is a supermarket just in front of the hotel, overall the location is great for travelers passing by.

The destination was beautiful, you could get everywhere by bus even if you didn't have a car, beautiful nature. I recommend visiting the Kovozoo in the Old Town near Uherské Hradiště, a great experience, a very clever idea. We really liked it there. And then the Salaš lookout tower, also an amazing experience with a great view.

This is an absolutely great location to visit with small children. Živá Voda and right next to the Archeoskanzen. A little further on is the Velehrad Basilica, next to which is a very good pastry shop. The pizzeria across the road from the basilica, but I recommend avoiding it.

A beautiful pilgrimage site with other attractions in the vicinity. It's just difficult to find somewhere to eat after 8pm. And there is only one café - a pastry shop, very expensive. The toilet in the information centre has been closed (now the toilet is owned by the café and they will only let you in if you drink in the café or for a fee of 21 CZK. :(

Velehrad is a great place for families with children, there are many places for excursions in the vicinity. Large children's playground near a beautiful cafe :) Open-air museum within walking distance. Even cyclists will enjoy a perfect vacation here.
