FAQs about hotels in Prague

Discover the Magic of Prague

The Czech capital is nothing short of magical, with Prague’s countless bridges, cathedrals, domes and castles reflected in the Vltava River. Thankfully the city escaped most of WWII’s destruction, leaving the rich history and fairytale façade of this Bohemian city intact.

Prague Castle is the largest ancient castle complex in the world and the St. Vitus Cathedral is a stunning example of Gothic architecture. The Cathedral’s lookout tower rewards those willing to climb 300 steps with the best view of the city.

Walking through the cobblestone streets of the Mala Strana district will bring you to the Charles Bridge. Prague’s beautiful 14th-century monument buzzes with musicians and local crafts sales. The Astronomical Clock, Tyn Church, and Storch building of Old Town compete for popularity with the neoclassical Estate Theatre and the Czech National Museum.

The cafes and restaurants of Wenceslas Square are great for people watching and the Franz Kafka house, the Old New Synagogue and Frank Gehry’s Dancing House are perfect for soaking up history.

Flights arriving at Prague Vaclav Havel International Airport will be in the city centre after a short subway ride. For historic hotels, cheap hostels or charming apartments head to Booking.com for nearly 700 accommodations in Prague.

Although it’s a photogenic city in terms of architecture, it doesn’t always deliver the effect you expect when you walk through its streets. If you’ve already seen plenty of beautiful buildings elsewhere, Prague can eventually become a bit of a disappointment.

I liked how clean the streets were, prices were quite ok, metro or tram are accessible, clean, a nice experience taking them. Lovely visiting the library and the castle, taking a walk through the center too. Food was very good every time with no exception and people were friendly. The only minus were cars driving a bit carelessly and not stopping even if we have started passing. Drivers in ubers/bolt were also the same. We are from a country where cars drive aggressively as well but they are careful to passers.

In the heart of Prague there are very beautiful buildings—almost every one is a work of art. Strolling along the city’s central streets or in its parks is also very pleasant. Prague has a wonderful zoo, and the ensembles of Prague Castle, Vyshehrad Castle and the old squares are beautiful.

Lovely in the winter with clear blue skies and that magic period from 4pm to 5pm when the sun goes down. Cheap quality beer obviously but everything is cheap in the supermarkets. Trams come along every few minutes and you can ride a few stops for free. Try staying around Vrsovice southeast of the city where you will find mostly locals in the pubs and even cheaper beer. Also I recommend standing on the terraces with the ultras at Bohemians 1905 Praha for a cost of about 8 pounds. I recommend a hardcore punk pub on Krymska where fridges of big beer bottles line one wall and you just take out what you want supermarket style. About 40 yards further down that road is an old school Bohemians 1905 pub, worth going to on match days.

Hotel location is very good,it is close to popular places such as Old Town Square,Astronomical Clock and Charles Bridge.Staff was very friendy, room was very comfortable. There were enough breakfast options. The hotel consept is based inside brewery. It makes feel like you are in museum. One thing we would like to have is slipper, there was no slipper in the room so we had have to buy it from nearest shop arround the hotel(For consideration of new guests)

We loved everything about this hotel! Firstly, the location, which is right in the city centre, so we walked everywhere. Secondly, the room itself - it was very spacious and clean, same as the hotel. Breakfast was great too, lots to choose from. There is also a supermarket at the Old Town square, which is 2 minutes away from the hotel. We literally don’t have any remarks about the accommodation.

This hotel is located in front of the tram line and is only a 15 - 20 minute walk to Old town square. It is also one subway stop away from the main train station. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. We were on the 8th floor and found our room to be quiet and very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was very good and there was a good selection of hot and cold dishes.

The hotel and room was very clean. Rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The hotel was in the perfect location, about 6 or 7 minute walk from the old town square and new town. I would stay here again.
