It is a very good place, if you look for an authentic village. It is managed by the local women association, and it is managed well. All is clean and well-kept. Good local food. The village is very quiet. The view is spectacular and the sunsets are idyllic. The village nightlife concentrates around a shop run by Antonio and it is a good place to meet the villagers. I really loved this place! I am convinced it’s the best hotel in Santo Antão. Everything was very clean, new, and beautiful. The room was great and the bed was very confortable. I slept so well! The staff were amazing — really nice and always ready to help. Breakfast was delicious, homemade and fresh! and we had dinner at the hotel twice: highly recommended! This hotel is perfect for relaxing after long hikes and exploring the island. I strongly recommend it! Thank you!!! 🙏🏾 😊

Very clean ,best location to enjoy nature , very good staff all over . Lady Georggette the owner of the hotel is marvellous. She did looked after us like her own children. Suzan at reception speaks very good English which was very helpful.

My friend and I had the most amazing stay here. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are big and clean and the view is amazing. The staff however is what made this stay unforgettable! They are so kind and made us feel extremely comfortable. My friend was sick and they really took care of her, which we appreciated so much. One of the staff members took me on the most beautiful hike, as I didn’t want to do it only because my friend was too sick. Really an experience of a life time and we will definitely come back! Thanks for everything.

It turned out to be a whole hotel-village, where peacocks walk along the street and various exotic fruits and flowers and plants grow. It's like an oasis in the middle of the desert. We lived in separate houses with 2 rooms each. It's very beautiful here, delicious food and beautiful views around, it's incredibly nice to have breakfast with the sunrise in the mountains. There is a swimming pool. Wonderful staff.
