Great Location near Lake Arenal. Joanne and Simon are the perfect hosts; during our stay they were always helpful and found answers to any question. We became friends! They proposed best-fit daytrips that fit best with our interest: a cozy Hot Springs Spa resort, a Hanging Bridge tour and a horse back ride. Ahead phone calls were offered to secure availability. The house restaurant was temporarily closed as the cook had just left. Manuel, owner of a small restaurant next door (25m) offered excellent local food and hosted us every night. Best comes last: the home-made breakfast with fruit of the season, fresh juices and home made bread and cake! WOW!!!

Rooms were great for the price, basic in some ways, but the mattresses are super comfy, I even asked for the brand and design it was that good as I am in the market for a new 1. Breakfast was good as well, take out coffee for no extra price. Location is lovely right next to the lake.

Everything ! The view is just incredible and the quietness is golden ! Sergio is a really lovely host who’s really looking after his guests making sure that they have everything they need. It was the best place I’ve been to during my trip to Costa Rica. There was a little issue with the shower of the bedroom but Sergio was super nice and proactive to provide a solution. I was also lucky to benefit from an upgrade and stay for the same price in the most beautiful room with a view on the ceiba! Well in a nutschell is was amazing !

Carlos and Werner have created the most amazing experience. Their home is just so comfortable and has everything you need. Carlos’ cooking is fantastic! If you’re lucky enough to have the Deutsch pancake you’ll love it. Werner was so good with the tours and really took the time to make sure I had the best experience, suggesting options that weren’t on my radar but were fantastic. This place is amazing . I originally booked due to the location , right on the banks of lake Arenal . It was ideal for me with good fishing and Kayaks to use just at the bottom of the garden . The accommodation was perfect , one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in , nice warm , powerful shower and all the facilities you need . The apartment was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was delicious. The owners were really nice , genuine, friendly people . They were happy to go out of their way to make sure you had a good time and a great stay . Highly recommend, one of the best places I have ever stayed .
