What a fabulous experience, from the friendly professional staff, the tranquil nature mountain setting, the sunset view pool, the delicious meals, the yoga deck, to the comfortable rooms, everything was perfect. We definitely wanted to spend a lot of time at the resort/hotel to enjoy it all. We saw toucans, agouti, and a sloth. Tip: Drive up during daylight for your first time, and use manual 1 or 2 to get up the hills. It gets easier after that! Thanks for the beautiful welcome, we can't wait to come back again. 💕

Best place during our trip to Costa Rica. We loved it so much, we didnt want to leave. The lodge in the jungle with the pool is amazing and Melissa and Said are absolutely lovely and welcoming.

We had such a lovely stay at Camila’s beach house. Alex and her family are so welcoming and it was a pleasure staying in their house. The location is perfect - close to the beach, transport, and restaurants. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped to cook in and the room was super comfy. Beautiful family and beautiful place to stay. Highly recommend!

Beautiful, spacious, very close to a beautiful beach. The place is full with birds and plants. It has a small but nice swimmimg pool, David, the owner. and all the staff are helpful and courteous . I really recomend this place.

Very friendly staff and owner met all our needs during our stay. We were travelling with disabled child and their attitude was really great. Beautiful space around our villa, nice and clean swimming pool, tasty breakfast... We enjoyed it very much.

Good and large bed, silent and good A/C, everything very clean, nice breakfast, nice pool, close to nice restaurant and Matapalo beach, saw a lot of red macaws and other birds around the accomodation and even a sloth in the tree next to the accomodation (learned from the owner his name is Fred). Super friendly and flexible owners. Very nice stay.

The fantastic location adjacent to the beach meant that we could hear the sound of the waves as we fell asleep and as we awoke in the morning. The sunrise and sunset seen from the beach were very special. We had regular visits from a group of white faced capuchin monkeys, saw red macaws, frequent groups of pelicans flying low to the sea and a resident sloth. The staff are very friendly and helpful. This was a perfect end to 18 days in Costa Rica.

Staying here is very useful, especially as an alternative to the coast, which is overcrowded and much more expensive, and also as a base for rafting on the Savegre River or visiting the Rafiki Lodge and taking excursions there without necessarily staying overnight, given the price difference. The place is beautiful and authentic—the real Costa Rica!
