This place is a true paradise! You’re surrounded by lush jungle, with monkeys playing in the trees, yet you get to enjoy a beautifully designed cabin with all the comforts you need. Even the WiFi was excellent for working remotely. The hosts were incredibly kind and thoughtful, paying attention to every detail and sharing great tips to make our stay even better. Getting there involves an off-road path that can be a bit steep at times, but the hosts' clear instructions made it easy to find this hidden gem. We would absolutely recommend it!

Great location! 3 minute walk to the beach, 3 minute walk from the bus station. And 20 minute walk tot the main road. Nice garden with shade, hammocks en chairs. Kitchen you can use. Good surf rentals nearby. Also a nice souvenir market at the beach. Good food like ; phat noodle, mono Congo. And amazing yoga classes at rockstar yoga.

I had an amazing experience at Coco Beach Village! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. David had plenty of knowledge of the area and genuine kindness. He went above and beyond, offering helpful recommendations and assistance whenever I needed it. The entire staff was exceptional—always friendly, attentive, and ready to help with anything. Our stay at this beautiful accommodation in Matapalo was simply fantastic! From the very first moment, we felt welcome, and the hosts were super friendly and helpful. The accommodation is just a short walk from the beach. The surrounding area and the village itself are lovely and perfect for relaxation – at the same time, we were able to spot some amazing wildlife, such as macaws and sloths. It is conveniently located between Manuel Antonio and Uvita, making it easy to explore both areas. The rooms are spacious, elegantly furnished, and of the highest quality. Everything was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The hosts provided excellent tips for excursions and activities in the area. You can truly feel that they run this place with passion and dedication! Breakfast is freshly prepared every morning based on a selection of options, accompanied by a small bowl of fruit and freshly brewed coffee. We can 100% recommend this accommodation! If you are looking for a relaxing, peaceful, and nature-inspired stay, this is the perfect place for you. We would definitely come back!

The room was very large and clean with great views. The beds were very comfortable. The property was well-maintained and the surroundings were beautiful. It was very quiet and serene. The pool was lovely and very clean. The beach was nearby. It is not good for swimming as the waves are too rough but it's nice to go in and get some salt water and jump the waves. There are many birds in the area. The macaws flew over the property quite often. Carlos was very kind and helpful. There is a little bar where you can get a glass of wine or a bottle of beer but that is the extent of it. The owner has put a lot of his heart and soul into this property and it shows. There are displays where you can learn about his background and there are little model ski gondolas which go up and down and track and are fun to watch. There is beautiful lighting in the gardens at night. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

The Jungle Bus was the highlight of our three week holiday in Costa Rica. The bus has recently been converted into a wonderful little house for two in the jungle just south of Quepos. A 4X4 is necessary to reach the property as it's high up in the jungle, about a kilometre from the coast, but close to the gorgeous local beaches and other local amenities. The bus is split into a "living area" with a well appointed kitchen equipped with everything one could possibly need and a "sleeping area" with a double bed and ensuite bathroom. The planning and execution of the conversion were obviously meticulous as all available space has been used to create a unique little house with more than enough space for two. There is a lovely balcony surrounding the bus that has views into the jungle and the beautiful garden that the hosts have planted. A wonderful space to sit, relax, eat and enjoy the diverse wildlife.
