San Jose is a patchwork of beautiful sites amidst a chaotic mess of traffic-riddled highways. We didn't really stay long enough to give it an accurate review, but our short stay was not encouraging. In general the city hasn't much to it - the best part is getting out on tours to see some nature! Traffic is also terrible at peak times, sometimes tripling the time is takes to get somewhere. There is much to do and see here…very spread out.
There is much to do and see here…very spread out. Might be wise budget-wise if longer stay to rent a car. Otherwise Uber is great here! The most significant disadvantages of San Jose are the...
The most significant disadvantages of San Jose are the traffic--which is truly some of the worst one can imagine--and the overall lack of safe, public commons. The lack of public commons is a common issue to most of the country but seems worse in San Jose as nearly all property is behind bars and razor wire.
