What an amazing place! The cottage is easy to reach, yet you feel completely immersed in nature. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need, and the complimentary coffee was such a treat. Sitting outside, you overlook the beautifully maintained garden, and the host, Anna, even lets you know when sloths are spotted in the trees—a truly unique and wonderful touch! In the area, we loved relaxing in the thermal baths, hiking up the Miravalles Volcano (challenging but so rewarding!), and visiting Rincón de la Vieja. We also took plenty of time to simply unwind, which fit perfectly into our travel plans. On our way there we passed by Rio Celeste, another absolute highlight and well worth a day trip.

The hosts are exceptionally kind and welcoming, they were so happy to give advice on what the best places in Rincon de La vieja are. The breakfast they serve (for a little extra but so worth it) is a delicious Costa Rican breakfast. I will be coming back.

Great central location to all the attractions as National Park and Springs. Delicious dinner offered by the host (home made) which was the testiest that we ate in Costa Rica for good price. If you are looking for a peaceful place, in nature, with excellent hosts, this is undoubtedly the right place. The rooms are very welcoming. Several breakfast options, always well prepared. The whole farm is wonderful, a fantastic pool, very well-maintained common spaces, with plenty of space to walk and lots of wildlife. It's close to several national parks. Roger and his wife are wonderful hosts! Always concerned about your stay and showing you around, with lots of tips, always available to help. In addition, they are extremely concerned about transforming the area into a better place, very concerned about the surrounding nature and wildlife. We loved talking and getting to know each other better and we have no other way of expressing how fantastic this place was - next time we return to Costa Rica we will definitely come back here!

Johnny was the best host that you can imagine. He knows a lot about animals and is very helpful. He recommends nice places where you can do activitys around the area. Especially the night tour and the cacao tour are very nice. The hotel has a small garden with a lots of animals. You can see tucans and frogs around the area. The rooms are nice and clean and the breakfast is very good. This place is definitely an recomendation. It was the nicest place where we have been so far in Costa Rica.
