The owners were having a pool built at Miniapartemento el Guanacaste, so we took up their offer of staying at their other property, Casa Brisa Marina (also on booking.com), to which these comments relate. Diego had very good English and was exceptionally helpful. I had very good WhatsApp communication with him and he made useful suggestions about things to do. The property was in a good location for exploring the coast - we particularly liked Playa Conchal, Playa Junquillal and the boardwalk to Playa Avellanas. Casa Brisa Marina has 3 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Plentiful supply of hot water for showers. Well equipped kitchen - particularly liked the 2 ring induction hob. Unfortunately the oven wasn't working while we were there. Good outdoor seating. Bed was comfortable. Lots of electrical sockets.

Muchas gracias to the owners from Hotel Casa Carlota. The Hotel is near from Tamarindo, but you may be need a car to go there. For us it was perfect far away from the trouble. But its close to a supermarket. The room was very clean and we had enough space. You also have a fridge and a coffeemachine. We used the kitchen outdoor in the cooking area for the breakfast. There‘s also a swimmingpool, which was cleaned everyday. The owners are very friendly and they also give us good suggestions. The accommodation is extremely well thought out, modern and clean. The breakfast every morning was delicious and different everyday with the chef even taking special care to cater for our picky teenagers.
