Really authentic location, well equipped house with a great terrace, fridge/freezer, AC, hot water in the shower, washing machine and clothes lines for drying. Everything we needed with two small children. Jorge was also really nice, helped us out and gave good tips for the area - fx Playa Ventanas, that we really enjoyed. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved it ! If you're staying at La Muñequita Lodge, you are not just booking a random place to sleep : you are experiencing probably the most authentic and amazing experience in Costa Rica ! You'll be sleeping in a wooden caban, handmade, opened so you'll be litteraly sleeping amoung the flowers, the trees, the birds (red macaws, toucan...) ! Dont worry tho, there's light, fresh water, toilets, a great shower and everything you need ! It's an enchanted garden where you have all the privaty and the calm you'll need ! The hosts are the nicest : they'll be giving you a tour of the farm, you'll be casually learning about local trees, fruits, eating fresh tropical fruits directly from the trees, you'll meet the cows, goats and their babies : if you're lucky enough as we were, you'll be milking the goats, feeding the babies ! Such a precious, magical and unforgettable moment for us... For the dinner, if you want it, they'll cook for you a delicious, consistent local meal, wich you'll be eating at their table, meeting the others tourists : such a precious moment too ! For the breakfast : traditional coffee, pancakes with syrup or if you are not tired of it : pinto gallo :) The pancakes were just delicious ! We had a very nice time at Morpho House. Due to a last minute cancellation, we had to reserve the house on the very day and Valeria was quick to respond. She also sent us all the useful information. Having been welcomed personally on arrival, we also had a personal check out. There is everything you need in the kitchen as well as a pleasant sitting area. Besides, the bathroom and bedroom are spacious. Altogether, a very comfortable house in a quiet area: we would strongly recommend staying there.

The location was remote which made it so special, quiet and enjoyable. The home was immaculate and very comfortable. The facilities at the site were exceptional (swimming pool, ping pong, hiking trails, community garden...)

We stayed here as need a stop before going on to Drake. The staff & bbq were so lovely. the rooms perfect for a stop over & great to be in a local non tourist town in CR. Do try this place , super cute , great food - Top chef & again lovey staff.

Top top top hotel. Marc is a fantastic host. His place is amazing. The pool is something. So confortable, peaceful and relaxing in the middle of the jungle. We had the chance to see a monkey familly. We highly recommand Marc place. Thanks a lot.

BEAUTIFUL home, amazing design of the house. Super friendly host that organized a taxi for us and was very accommodating. Great breakfast (and a lot of food!). Macaws in the backyard.

Very quiet place on the other side of the river bank. Wade (host) picks you up by boat (at any time) and looks after his guests very attentively and has lots of exciting stories to tell. We were only here for one night and would have loved to stay longer in this magical, deserted place in the middle of the mangroves. If you're lucky, you might see crocodiles nesting next door.
