We loved our stay! For starters, the property has a decent size rainforest in their "backyard". We took advantage of that and saw a variety of birds including toucans, howler monkeys, various coloured frogs, a wide variety of plants and flowers. They also host a guided tour for free and we took full advantage of that. In addition, the staff always went out of the way to make us comfortable. The place is located about 20-30 mins from the various La Fortuna attractions, so we were able to cover a few of these every day. The wifi was of good quality. The hot water in the shower was good. Rooms are spacious and comes with a kitchen. The kitchen was well supplied with dishes, cutlery etc. There was coffee, sugar, oil and salt available as a complement. There was also parking available for our car.

Excellent location and staff, always willing to help and provide advice. Armando, the local guide is a gem, Pura Vida Chicos! Great views of the volcano and for spotting local birds while having a delicious breakfast. After a rain we got to see toucans and hummingbirds in the trees around the property.

It's an amazing place, the view is great and you get to see wildlife from your window or on your way back to your villa in the evening. The staff were lovely as well, very approachable and helpful. It's also right across from Mistico park, so you can just walk there and enjoy a hanging bridges tour.
