Ah it's a quirky charming place.. very easy to stay there. Two minutes walk to a lovely beach. it's $60 cab fare from Nosara airport so it's worth organising transport beforehand. Lovely balcony..

We loved that the beach was right in front of the property. Alejandro, the host, was super kind. Communication was quick and he helped us with everything that we needed. He made our stay (2 adults, one 5 year old and a baby) very comfortable. Parking is right on the property. If you are interested in fishing, the beach is amazing to catch some nice fish: there are roosters, jacks, trigger fish, blue runners, mangrove snapper and more... Locals there know how it's done and fish there daily. They are kind and can help you out. If there are plenty of sardines in the water, safe your time with artificial lures. Get some sardines and fish on the bottom. You won't wait long for a bite ;)

Hakuna Mata Lodge was an unexpected "luxury" appartment with the most friendly host you can imagine. Great interior, great shower, wonderful outdoor kitchen. And the superb beaches and a small supermarket are just some short walk away. And don´t be afraid of the dog, he is as gentle as he is big. If you are looking for an outstanding appartment in San Juanilo - this is a recommended choice.

Great location just steps from a huge beach where you can decide if you want to stay in a beach bar among people or walk a bit and be pretty much alone. Very friendly owner who is happy to help and advise with any question you might have and is also great cook if you want to order e.g. a special dinner :)

    This Casita was incredible! Tucked into the woods no more than five minutes from Playa Marbella! The hosts live at the same property, but down the driveway a bit so you still have privacy. They were very kind, gave us info on the town, beach, and surf, and even left some homemade mouse in the fridge for us! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Would definitely stay here again!

    Spacious kitchen , lovely room, nice bathroom , close to Marbella, good price My son & his 3 teenage friends stayed to surf, & it felt like a safe place for them to stay. The hosts will prepare breakfast & pizza if you order ahead of time.
