OPacifico has an amazing domain close to the sea, with flowers and beautiful trees. The swimming pool is very adapted for kids. My kid had a great great time there and me too because of that. The people are very kind and trustworthy. I recommend, and hope to be back one day.

YES, you must go there. Great place with lots of activities. Travis took us out in the nice old life boat 'Nicoya Queen'. Went to the prisoner island and Travis made the best lobster we've ever had. Thanks :) The breakfast is excellent. Nice traditional Tico breakfast or best: Travis' special egg benedict! Not to forget: You can also borrow canoes and go on a trip yourself. This was a one night stopover on our road trip from San Jose to the Pacific Coast. The Cabinas Brisas is a family run Soda House with a few rooms with basic facilities that would suit seasoned travellers. The owners are extremely friendly and provided us with an evening meal and breakfast, both of which were cooked to order and very satisfying. The room was comfortable and had air conditioning and was good for our one night stay.
