Our host was fantastic, really friendly and helpful. Given its a remote place to stay anyway and that's what you want, it's a great location right next to the beach and local eateries. We had a tree in our garden with iguanas in it.

Very helpful staff including clear information pre arrival, giving us a very early check in because our room was already ready when we arrived and helping to recover and return my sunglasses that I left one village over in San Francisco. A/C and the fan were very good in the room. The pool is small but refreshing.

Close proximity to everything. Clean, comfortable, and friendly. We took the night to through Tuanis with Bernie and I highly recommend it. We say everything and more. I would definitely stay here again.

Good situation, close from the national park, and not that far from the harbor where the small boats come and go. Very beautiful and big room upstairs. You can see the trees in the national park at sunrise and birdwatch with binoculars — I saw tucans ! Also hear and see the monkeys that are everywhere. They also have another hotel in front of the beach where you can have coffee and a good price. Breakfast is very good if you stick to local option or toasts. Team is amazing , so helpful in all ways. Cooper was super efficient to answer my questions online prior to arriving and was really nice as well there. But all the ladies and the other man were kind and smiling. Very good vibes

Really nice place that had everything we could have hoped for. Room was clean, shower was nice, aircondition was very good, and the garden was really nice! The host helped arrange tours and transportation, which made our stay in Tortuguero perfect. Great value for money. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Great location; very close to the beach and a short, easy walk into the main street. The room was very comfortable and clean, though definitely could do with some clothes hooks or hanging rods in the bedroom. Best of all was the host who couldn't be more warm, welcoming or accommodating. He's an absolute star and made a great stay even better....thank you 🫶

really lovely apartment in a quiet location. the garden actually overlooks the nature reserve. we saw frogs, iguanas, capuchins and 2 anteaters just sat on the verandah outside the apartment. the apartment was very clean and well equipped. the hosts Adriana and Rodrigo were very friendly and Adriana showed us the wildlife in the garden. Fabian, who works for the hosts, took us on a wonderful canoe trip along the river and channels and pointed out loads of wildlife. he's very knowledgeable and also so friendly. he also took us on a walk through the reserve, which was really interesting and pointed out so much wildlife, he's so enthusiastic, it was a joy to accompany him. you can arrange tours with him through the accommodation.
