the staff were absolutely incredible, Daniela and Jazmín were the best receptionists ever, and helped with literally anytjung we wanted and felt so so so at home! it was truly an amazing experience. Mauricio and Elvis the drivers would take us anywhere and add stops along the way if we needed to go to the shop and we're very friendly. overall 10/10 experience

The property is beautiful, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. They encourage you to speak Spanish but are very low-key about it. It is right on the pacific warm ocean and you can hop between the pool and the ocean.

Great location - right on the beach and an easy walk to restaurants, etc. Our room was comfortable and clean, and had a balcony with view of ocean. Great restaurant - Roberto's - on the premises. Food and menu selections were very good for both breakfast and dinner. One of my favorite parts of this hotel was all the varied spaces where one could sit outdoors: at the restaurant right on the beach (or up under cover out of the sun); on the upper level where there was a small pool and a great view of the sunset over the water; and at least one area on each floor with a couple of chairs/ loveseat/ coffee table. Highly recommend!

    The resort was nice, pool was refreshing.

    The resort was nice, pool was refreshing. No premium drinks, a bottle of Crown was $90, and only 1 brand of beer. The food at the buffet wasn't the greatest. Fish was dry, salad dressings were odd or just oil and vinegar. One day I had a poached egg and the yolk was hard and the whites were runny. French toast was hard and tough on the outside and soggy on the middle. You could only eat in the specialty restaurants once for every 3 days of stay.

    It’s a beautiful place if you’re looking to relax and enjoy...

    It’s a beautiful place if you’re looking to relax and enjoy sceneries. It’s very Humid there but, worth it. It’s not much of a party place if you’re looking for a younger crowd to hang out and have fun. Also, some of the excursions involve a lot of hiking. So, bring comfortable gym shoes or water shoes.

    We loved the time of year, the rainy season.

    We loved the time of year, the rainy season. There were few travelers, and it was hot but not as hot as the dry season. We did not have trouble getting chairs by the pool. The staff was friendly and helpful. The place is beautiful.

    We had two adults and three children and thus needed 2 rooms...

    We had two adults and three children and thus needed 2 rooms. We booked for 1 night and they let us stay thru lunch the following day. It was confortable. The pools were large and the children loved it.

    The location is very beautiful and suitable for people looking for a calm or romantic weekend. No more snorkel guided tours due to Covid Overpriced food for the quality that is offered Difficult to reach from San Jose because the roads are in poor state: foresee more than 4 hours drive without traffic Most hotels are overpriced for the quality they offer
