My husband and I LOVE Palmetto Lodge the best from our stay in Costa Rica. The location was beautiful, and secluded, with an amazing view. The owners were so kind and inviting. They've worked so hard on their property and the work is 1000% reflected in their lodge. The breakfast was AMAZING! Everything homemade. Their hospitality was the best.

Note: during my stay I was the only guest of the hotel. The location is what makes this hotel great. Next to the beach, which is beautiful and very quiet with most of the time only a few.fishermen. I wish I would never have to leave. Bring your own food and drinks because there are almost no restaurants or shops around the hotel. You can use the communal kitchen, which is well stocked with all the amenities you need to cook a meal. The breakfast that was made every morning was really plentiful, for me even enough to also cover lunch. Everything was also really delicious! Don't expect luxury, the rooms are pretty basic and have only cold showers (which is fine because it isn't that cold). I didn't have issues with mosquitoes. The ceiling fan just ran 24/7 and kept them out I guess.

A beautiful, well-maintained property, and it is clear the family puts a lot of care into it. Beautiful landscaping, flowers, lighting, pool house. The pool with the slide was a big bonus for us, especially traveling with a toddler. The accommodation itself was comfortable The kitchen is well equipped, with some minor signs of wear. The property is very quiet, and we were the only guests during our stay, which we really appreciated. It would be perfect for a family outing booking multiple villas. Overall, we had a good stay and would recommend this place. The location is also convenient, with Sámara and Playa Carrillo close by. You can tell that this is a passion project.

Beautiful property situated in a very peaceful location. The infinity pool affords a stunning view of the forest and the ocean below. We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay. The hosts are very friendly and hospitable and the breakfast is freshly made and delicious. Highly recommend.

My husband and I LOVE Palmetto Lodge the best from our stay in Costa Rica. The location was beautiful, and secluded, with an amazing view. The owners were so kind and inviting. Note: during my stay I was the only guest of the hotel. The location is what makes this hotel great. Next to the beach, which is beautiful and very quiet with most of the time only a few.fishermen. I wish I would never have to leave. Bring your own food and drinks because there are almost no restaurants or shops around the hotel. You can use the communal kitchen, which is well stocked with all the amenities you need to cook a meal. The breakfast that was made every morning was really plentiful, for me even enough to also cover lunch. Everything was also really delicious! Don't expect luxury, the rooms are pretty basic and have only cold showers (which is fine because it isn't that cold). I didn't have issues with mosquitoes. The ceiling fan just ran 24/7 and kept them out I guess.

A beautiful, well-maintained property, and it is clear the family puts a lot of care into it. Beautiful landscaping, flowers, lighting, pool house.
