The location is incredible: beautiful but calm and peaceful (I really couldn't believe that this place wasn't overrun by tourists, less beautiful places are), colibris at breakfast, incredible (but challenging) trails with waterfalls at the reserve (you actually need two full days for the reserve, although I only had one because I also visited Cloudbridge). Also a big thank you to the very friendly and helpful staff: they made great suggestions for my hiking day in the reserve, they drove me to my cabin with a car because there was heavy rain when I arrived, meals were great, ...

The place is an ideal starting point for the Cerro Chirripo hike. Parking your car here while you are on the hike is allowed at no extra charge which is definitely a plus. It was possible to adjust the time of breakfast so that we could make an early start. The rooms are simple, but good size and the beds are comfortable. Washing machine was not mentioned in the description, but there is one and we could have our laundry done for a reasonable price.

We wanted to hike in the cloudbridge Reserve (very recommendable) and for this the location is perfect. The bungalow was great with a small kitchen, some complementary wine, comfy bed, nice terrace and everything we needed. Everything seemed made with love and heart. Everything was clean. Very good breakfast with good coffee. They have a beautiful garden and beautiful flowers.
