The hotel is as close as you can get to the entrance for the Chirripo National Park. The rooms are nice, simple and with everything you need. The staff is really helpful and nice. There's even a physiotherapy place located in the hotel. The bonus of this place is that you can leave your car park there until you come back from the hike and they also lend you the showers afterwards.

We stayed at this hotel the night before climbing Cerro Chirripó, and it was an excellent choice. The staff were very knowledgeable and extremely helpful, offering valuable tips and advice for the hike. Their experience and familiarity with the climb really made a difference. The hotel is located about 2.5 km from the trailhead. They offer a shuttle service, or you can choose to drive yourself and park at the entrance of the national park for a fee. After the hike, we stayed for an additional night and thoroughly enjoyed relaxing by the pool and the peaceful natural surroundings. It’s the perfect place both to prepare for the climb and to unwind afterward. Highly recommended for anyone planning to hike Cerro Chirripó.

Amazing location in a giant botanical garden, designed by an expert and kept in peak condition, astounding. Owners/staff were so friendly and helpful, we received a bottle of Cava as a welcome gift for our stay over the new year ❤️ Breakfast was big and tasted excellent, cooked freshly and served in a nice area to eat. Bed was giant, apartment was large and clean, nice little terrace and large bathroom. 50m from the tourist office where permits are handed out and information shared, also a 2km walking distance to Chirripoo trailhead, maybe 150m altitude gain along the 2km. Just cross the bridge outside the property and keep on walking!

The owners were incredibly kind, generous and welcoming! The whole atmosphere is cozy and beautiful, everything is made with a love for details and I love the wooden structure of the house. The kitchen is SO well equipped and we could even try and use many fresh ingredients to cook.
