On a family farm this was a lovely cabin. Spacious room with a good sized comfortable bed and nice bathroom. They have a lovely decking area at the front to watch the birds. There is no noise at night. The family made us very welcome. The cabin is on the road to the national park and very close to La Leona waterfall, a very popular tourist attraction. It is ideal for visits to both, but especially the National park, Rincon de La Vieja .

Cañas Dulces is a good location for travelling to Rincon National Park. There are also plenty of other places nearby to visit where you can do water sports. Llanos del Cortes is a wonderful waterfall where you can swim. Cañas Dulces town is very small with only a few places to eat. The food is traditional Costa Rican and fast food.
