This has been one of our best travel experiences. The entire team are exceptional hosts - warm, friendly, attentive. They work so hard to make this a nice stay for everyone, no matter your age or background. La Masia has different types of rooms, and we had one of the smaller standard rooms. It was cozy and peaceful, and the space outside is just fabulous. There are multiple benches and hammocks to hang out, or you just roam the beautiful garden with its trees full of birds, or have a chat with one of the staff (which was possible despite our bad Spanish!) They also have a good kitchen, with a hearty Colombian breakfast in the morning and solid Colombian dishes in the evening. And someone is always there to make you a coffee or tea in the afternoon and tell you to relax. Note that this hotel is located a bit outside of the town of Salento - but that makes it even better. You will not find the same peace in the town after a day of hiking or exploration. It's absolutely worth paying an Uber/ Taxi. There is a kiosk nearby where you can buy snacks and water, or you walk to the main road to grab a bite. It's a safe and village-like community where everyone greets you on the way. It s excellent, nothing to add more. My room had a kettle to make tea and coffee and a jar of water, a hairdryer. The hotel itself is super beautiful and quiet. The breakfast is so reach, they had a good options to choose from. Senora Damaris and Leider took very good care of me, I felt like at home. I would definitely stay again.

Had a great stay here. Really recommend. Lovely staff who are always happy and helpful. It is set in a beautiful building so you get that boutique feel. Lovely breakfast options and lots of info regarding what to do in and around Salento. Coffee farm tours, amazing hikes, downhill mountain bike tours, spas and thermals, give them a try! They have chilled evening get togethers if you want to meet other travellers. I would say this place is suitable for all people. Quiet time after 10pm and it's set on the edge of town with stunning views. This was my final stop of a 4 month trip and I can not think of a better accommodation. Highly recommend and once again thanks to ALL the AMAZING staff, well done.
