The La Estancia is a beautiful traditional building located close to the main plaza. The rooms are decorated with period furniture and are clean. The beds are comfortable and open up into a main courtyard area where there are comfortable chairs and the breakfast area. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. They can help you organise visits to places and recommend good places to eat. This was one of the best hotels I stayed at on my trip.

This was one of the most unique places we ever stayed at. It is the whole house that you have for yourself, built more than 100 years ago. The house comes with a library, which gives it additional charm. It is located great, a few meters from the main square. It can be a bit spooky during the night as is it huge and wooden so it squeaks a lot :D. But it is part of the experience! We are happy we chose this house for our stay in Salamina, as it gave an additional touch to the charm of the little town.
