Very friendly and caring host, she was always available in case we needed something. Also, she helped us to organize a tour into the national park (guide, insurance, registration, ...). From our room as well as the terrace (kitchen) we had a nice view over the village and the mountains. We had a great time at GLL Hostel and even extended our stay :)

The views are spectacular from the balcony. The building is like staying in a part of history, very quirky and colourful. Breakfast was great.

Ended up staying way longer than planned at this lovely place. Anna & Alberto are very very kind people and have a lot to tell. Rooms are cozy and quiet , hammocks to relax after climbing days are perfect and the view towards the valley is fantastic.

The view is just superb, with the peaks shining in the morning, differently from what you would have in El Cocuy itself. It is located at 3100m, about 4/5 km after El Cocuy if you come the paved way. The owner Giraldo is an excellent guide and he is definitely very passionate about his property. I would strongly suggest this stay for all the mountain lovers.

We loved our stay - everyone was so nice, and despite the weather not working out for us to tackle the hikes, we enjoyed our visit. The bed was great, the wifi was perfect, and it was a great place to meet cool people. Will definitely stay there again when we return in the dry season!
