Jackie is incredibly nice and welcoming. It has been a great pleasure to stay at his guesthouse and have him as a guide around the area. One of the best hotel experiences on booking ever had.

Like someone else said in a review, it is like staying at a friend's. Lucy is very caring, she helped organise transport from the main city to her house and she took me on a wonderful hike through the rice fields for the whole day. The room was clean and quiet. Her house is 2 minutes from magical view on Duoyishu rice terraces for sunrise

We enjoyed a lot staying in Flowers Résidence. The stay was extremely nice and helpful, starting by giving some advice to get from Kunming to the hotel. The hotel is well located by the rice fields and the Pu Gao village has its own spot with few people to watch the sun rise. The room was well equipped with a nice view on the rice fields of you are in the upper levels. We definitely recommend. Special thanks to Sam who was kind and helpful and full of advice for the hiking.

Perfect location with view on the rice terraces from the balcony. Warm welcome from the staff, great hospitality - they went above and beyond to ensure we have a comfortable stay and no issues communicating with the translation app. The hotel also connected us in advance to a driver we hired for 3 days. Delicious, freshly made dinner for which we could select the ingredients in the kitchen and accomodating for dietary requirements. We would recommend to everyone!

Stunning view of the rice terraces, close to the main sightseeing areas. The host was fantastic. He gave us rides to where we needed. He made meals for the guests, he helped with getting me set up to get back to Kunming. Most of all, he took good care of me when I was sick for a couple of days and needed to stay longer than expected.

This is my second time staying in Yuanyang and my second time staying at the Flower and Horse Inn. Lucy, the owner of the inn, is very kind and takes good care of her guests. She brought me on a hike to watch the sunset in Lower Duoyishu, an experience which I’m sure will be one of my favourite memories forever.

Jacky and his friends are such kind, warm and thoughtful hosts. They gave us very practical tips to hike around the rice terraces and offered many helps to take care of our friend who was badly sick. We're very thankful to Jacky and his team and would love to come back again 👍
