very nice accommodation, within walking distance from all the sights. The room was spacious and well equipped. The reception speaks English, through wechat we booked Li river cruise and transport. Massages are directly in the hotel and at a good price, again it was possible to book for wechat. Breakfast on the 5th floor with a view.

Everything was great! To be honest, it felt more like a homestay (in a good way) because the staff was so welcoming and helpful! Some of them only speak Chinese but Melody speaks English fluently, so I never had any issues because of the language barrier. She organized all my transfers and even told the driver to help me find my boat. I had the room on the top floor and I would definitely recommend staying there. It's a bit higher than the other buildings, so I felt comfortable leaving my panoramic windows open to enjoy the view. Btw, the room looked the same as in the pictures, so I didn't have to adjust my expectations to reality. There was a lot of natural light and I really liked the design - some traditional Chinese elements with a modern twist. It was exceptionally clean and the bed was soft (if you live in China you know why I needed to mention that). I could only have their proper breakfast once because I would leave too early, but that one time their noodles were top-notch. And on the days when I couldn't have breakfast they would always prepare something I could take with me and it was delicious, too. I especially appreciated that there were always some fruits. Lastly, I'd like to mention the massage you can get there. From what I understood it's the same price everywhere because I saw the exact same paper with all the types of massage at a different hotel. I got the oil massage and I cannot recommend it enough. Overall, the people the hotel works with are great, too.

Absolutely friendly and helpful staff! The service they provide is exceptional! Trips to sightseeing spots, massages and more can be organised easily through them. Beautiful rooms, nice food (western and numerous Chinese choices for breakfast) , we really enjoyed our stay. Not at all an average hotel - unique indeed! You will not regret it!

The whole experience was amazing. Location is the best in Guilin. Remote but on a lake and lovely to walk around it first thing in the morning or early evening. Both Melody and Cheng couldn’t have been more helpful. They assisted with trips, taxis and great advice. I also had an oil massage in my room and the therapist Huan was amazing. I wish I could have stayed longer. The building itself is very modern right on the waters edge. I will definitely be back as I found it most relaxing.

The staff was so friendly and hospitable, he even invited us for a BBQ with his friends and we had such a wonderful evening! He also brought our suitcases upstairs to our room and cut some watermelon for us, when we arrived. The room was very cosy and clean and had all the facilties you need. It’s located in a very beautiful neighbourhood, which is very calm and cosy at night! We had a lovely view of the mountains from our window. You can ask him anything you need and he arrange it for you, like a beautiful private tour with a English speaking driver to the Longji Rice Terraces, fixing the tandem bike to a perfect hight, so we could cycle in the city, and a taxi to our train. Even though he could speak English very well, we could communicate very well via translate!

    Lao Dongjiang rice noodles are very close, highly recommended, they have local flavors that locals like to eat. This street is a street I visited, Shijiayuan Road, there are many snacks, etc. Opposite the hotel is Elephant Trunk Hill, Two Rivers and Four Lakes, which is very suitable for walking and taking pictures. It is beautiful during the day and even more beautiful at night.

    guilin is a famous tourist attraction, things to do include a river cruise, visits of the rice terraces, tea plantation, seven star park, or a river walk around sun&moon twin. might be rather crowded in high tourist season. be aware of the e-scooters, which are just everywhere and don't follow the traffic rules. besides this, it's save to walk, also on ones own, even at night. if you don't speak chinese, find a travel guide, who makes the booking and organises the tickets for you.

    Guilin is a city and all the cruise to Yangshuo starts here.

    Guilin is a city and all the cruise to Yangshuo starts here. Guilin has lively night shopping area and full of restaurants. It has a lake and it is ok to walk around at night and look at the pagodas. There is a famous cave nearby. I personally find Guilin to be good for overnight stay to catch the cruise ship to Yangshuo but I will not stay longer to explore the city.

    People like tranquil and beautiful sceneries will love to visit Guilin. Also, the local food streets give you big selection of food selection. An outstanding restaurant I would like to bring it up is, Ah Kim Chinese restaurant. We like their food so much, we ended up eating dinner there for 5 consecutive days.

    The town was lovely especially the Old Town with its street market at night. The Li River Cruise was disappointing because the weather was poor. Another time I would leaver longer to book and check the weather first - but I was off peak.

    The staff here are really great. Very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located right by the lake so we took advantage of this and walked round the lake a few times. Even in the rain it was lovely. Room very comfortable with a great view over the lake. The hotel is full of art pieces and stylish features. If we went to Guilin again we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

    The location was really good, staffs were nice. We booked a family room for 4 adults and a 6 year old kid, the bed room was in a good size and clean. We were able to walk to the elephant park from the hotel. The Guilin mi fen (near the hotel) that the receptionist recommend was really nice and good value. Thanks 😊

    The hotel was well located and modern. Jenny from the hotel’s English speaking staff was very friendly and helpful at booking the Li River cruise for us, showing us maps of Guilin and Yangshuo and suggesting restaurants! She replied quickly to my messages and arranged everything with ease - were grateful!

    We had a wonderful stay at Guilin Village creek In. Michelle and her Family are so nice, friendly and michelle speaks english very well! We also rent two bikes at the hotel directly. Highly recommendated!
