We thoroughly enjoyed the hotel's prime location and comfortable accommodations. The surrounding area provided an excellent opportunity to experience local daily life, with a wide variety of dining options available. The convenient 7-minute proximity to FUGIN metro station allowed us seamless access to all our intended destinations. We particularly appreciated the authentic Chinese breakfast offered by the hotel. Thank goodness for this hotel, I think we would have gone home early without it - an absolute sanctuary of cleanliness and comfort in Chengdu. The male manager could not try to be more helpful despite language barrier. Attention to detail in the design and a very cool, Japanese aesthetic.

The hotel had such friendly, lovely staff who helped us with booking train tickets etc 🥰 The hotel and room itself were very comfortable and in a great, central location. The breakfast, especially the Dandan noodles and wonton soup, were so delicious. We loved our stay, and will be back!!

I loved this place! Location is close to metro station, convenience store nearby. The room was small but efficient and very stylish. The hotel also provides necessities like shampoo, water, little snacks. Breakfast was good too, different options day by day. The best was management here: very nice and sweet and helpful!

We loved the staff who were so kind and helpful. They allowed us to check in early when we arrived from the train and helped us to order a taxi 🚕 All the staff were helpful and polite including the cleaning team. Also, the facilities in the room are excellent. High quality presumably Chinese (‘Japanese-style’) toilets in rooms, seperate toilet and shower (such a sensible design!)

I liked the streets, especially at night as they were beautiful and filled with colourful and vibrant lights. I went to a panda sightseeing place and it was very pleasant and interesting. Although HuaHua was unfortunately not working, I still enjoyed seeing the pandas a lot. Many places had a variety of yummy snacks and food which were good in price. Overall, Chengdu is a recommended place to stay at.

Chengdu is a beautiful, modern city. It is a hub from which you can get to other scenic areas in Sichuan Province, like Jiuzhaigou, Ermei Mountain. Only downside is that the food has a lack of variety. You typically only find Sichuan foods there which are usually spicy.

I mostly travel alone and I like a city that I can negotiate using the metro in preference to buses, or else I make a plan and walk. Chengdu is very flat so no problem walking ... I managed to see everything on my plan. The Metro is very easy to use and also provides links to major fast train stations. I visited the Panda enclosure on my own - very easy as the Metro stops nearby and a shuttle bus takes you the rest of the way. I found no problem walking around on my own as there are plenty of signs.

A very relaxed and clean city, with very helpful people, though most of them struggled to communicate in English. It was very easy to get around the city, thanks to an excellent and highly efficient Metro subway system. Payment for services is difficult if you only have overseas credit cards, so travellers are well advised to download a Chinese app like Alipay. Make sure you visit the Panda Park!

Chengdu is a huge city with so mutch to offer. I feel like it's still a city under construction and will look different in a year. We discovered charming neighborhoods with a pleasant bustle. As a European, you certainly attracted a lot of attention. But people are always willing to help you even if you don't speak Chinese. Installing a translation app is a good tip we'd like to share. Be sure to install Alipay or Wechat for payments. Bank cards are rarely accepted. Cash is also rarely in circulation. We discoverd many green spaces, the best Sichuan cuisine, Panda bears, a lot of taxis and there's certainly a great sense of security

We primarily visited religious sites, especially Buddhist (Great Wild Goose Pagoda), but also Daoist. Also, the excellent Sichuan Museum. There was not enough time to see the Pandas or visit Chengdu Museum.

Beautiful classical Chinese designed hotel with a romantic history. Love the location/convenience. The staff speaks good English which is rare even in the 5 stars international hotels we stayed in China. Special mention about the hotel manager, Frank who provides excellent service and is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about Chengdu/China. Things worked like hot showers which is important in winter. The restaurant food is delicious. We really enjoyed our stay and will come back again.

This is one of the best hotels we have ever been. For the price we paid, the room size, style and the buffet was incredible. The staff were amazing in helping us get around Chengdu and helped everytime we had tourist questions. The hotel was very beautiful and I can only talk high of them. I highly recommend!

The room was sufficiently spacious for two. The breakfast was awesome with a lot of local foods for selection including a noodle bar. I was worried about smoke smell in the hotel but there was no smoke at all! Within 15 minutes walk from IFS and the bus stops to a lot of attractions outside of Chengdu.

Great hotel, the rooms are vey spacious and the beds are massive! Staff were very responsive and helpful, they even kept my suitcase in storage while we went away exploring other places until we returned to Chengdu. This was my second stay at this hotel, and won't be the last, highly recommended!
