Epic stunning views! It’s a trip & many hikes worth making.

Epic stunning views! It’s a trip & many hikes worth making. Wish we could spend more time amongst the mountains and/or drive around exploring without having to worry about the lack of petrol station in TNP. The roads are mostly gravel with many many pot holes! Good to see sectors of the roads are being re-surfaced during our trip.

There are no shops or petrol stations near the park so stock up with what you need before leaving Puerto Natales. The hotel at Lago Grey has a decent restaurant that let us walk in - a nice place for a snack before the boat trip to the glacier (which was good fun)

The park and vistas are fantastic!

The park and vistas are fantastic! We rode horses very nearby which was also wonderful! I just wish this park was a little easier to get to. The restaurant at this lodge was great - great food and wonderful service!

Postcard views in all directions!

Postcard views in all directions! Beautiful mountains, glaciers, turquoise lakes, wow! Hiking is superb, for all levels; there are short and easy hikes, and there are ultimately difficult and strenuous hikes that would challenge anyone. We did a bit of both (not too strenuous, but I hiked/ran up to the Mirador Las Torres and it was enough for me and I am pretty fit). I didn’t research Chile or Torres del Paine before we booked and I am totally blown away by the diversity of its landscapes, the good wines, the good food, and the good people here. Totally recommended..!

We did day walks not the W or O trails.

We did day walks not the W or O trails. Weather is a key factor and we had snow, rain and beautiful clear skies over 4 days. If doing the Mirador Torres be at the start by 8:30 or earlier. The v fit can do the walk in 7 hours or so. We took 8 1/2 , finishing around 6pm. We did shorter walks too, morning and afternoon, and had great views of the mountains and iceberg on lake grey.

Torres del Paine too vast.

Torres del Paine too vast. You need a sturdy car not only to get to the amazing popular places but also to maneuver on some of the unpaved and gravel roads. There are few places to eat and hardly any grocery stores, so stock up on food before entering the park.

Host was very friendly and helpful, she had lots of information about local hiking. Incredible view from dining area. Warm fireplace. Free tea and coffee. Option to have dinner (30 USD for a three course dinner as of November 2024), food quality was very good. Location was amazing, close to a main entrance of the park. Breakfast was really good, but only starts at 07:30, so a bit late for starting hikes early (takeaway breakfast is possible though). Computer available for researching and planning visit to Torres del Paine.

The hotel room provided us with a magnificent view facing the Grey Glacier and the Torres del Paine mountains. There was one fantastic member of the restaurant during breakfast who spoke good English, was welcoming and very helpful. She is in the wrong job...move her to the reception please. She will do a fabulous job.

Nice room with huge and cozy bed, common areas with amazing views and very beautifully decorated. Both restaurants were excellent and the pool/spa area is lovely as well. Great location for exploring Torres del Paine, definitely recommended!
