My recent stay at Aitutaki Lagoon Private Island Resort was an unforgettable tropical paradise experience. From the moment I arrived, the attentive and friendly staff made me feel like royalty. They went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was perfect, from accommodating special requests to providing excellent recommendations for local activities and excursions. The culinary offerings at the resort were nothing short of exceptional. Each meal was a delightful feast for the senses, featuring a fusion of local flavors and international cuisine. The chefs truly outdid themselves, and I found myself eagerly anticipating each meal. Dining amidst the stunning backdrop of the lagoon and the lush greenery only added to the overall experience, making it a truly unforgettable gastronomic journey. The view and nature at Aitutaki Lagoon Private Island Resort were simply breathtaking. The crystal-clear turquoise waters of the lagoon, dotted with overwater bungalows, created a mesmerizing panorama. The resort's location on a private island ensured a peaceful and serene atmosphere, providing ample opportunities to immerse myself in the beauty of nature. We had everything we needed with proper beachfront access. Loved the outdoor shower, kitchen facilities, a fan, mosquito net, that we had filtered water, free paddle board hire, comfy lounge chairs, hammocks and we could even hire a scooter onsite (1 available i believe). Communication was fantastic! Highly recommended for adventurous people and those that love camping.

    1st time in Aitutaki we stayed 1 night... this time 2 nights.. next time at least 3! The bone fishing is the best in the world, the views are incredible and the people are the best/nicest of all. If you're going to come to rarotonga, make the trip to Aitutaki Socials: Fish Eat Repeat

    I loved the friendliness of the islanders.

    I loved the friendliness of the islanders. My bike chain came off 3 times on a ride to the grocery store. Each time an islander came out of their house, or stopped their car to help. Once on a walk, a woman invited us to her porch and gave us 15 mangoes. In today’s troubled these acts of kindness by the cook islanders, was such a reassuring thing.

    Loved the location and beach views.

    Loved the location and beach views. A small amount of eating facilities in the area, and most were very good. We used tourist activity vans to be picked up and delivered, plus our accommodation did transfers to/from airport. So we did not have transport. Readily available car and scooter rental at our accommodation had we wanted it. Recommend the lagoon tours at Aitutaki

    Definitely stay here.

    Definitely stay here. We stayed just the one night, and could've stayed here much longer. It's so peaceful and the locals are very friendly and welcoming. Excellent places to eat are close by and the beach is immaculate.

    The weather was not the best, so hampered our judgement. The people were very nice and we were very pleased to have a rental car with Aircon, so we covered the whole island on driving adventures! However, it would be more convenient if the car hire places were at the airport, and/or they would work in more closely with the plane arrivals and departures (We had to wait 2 hours for our plane because the company dropped us there at 5pm, which is the latest they will work...) The two cafes (Avatea & Koru), and the Pacific resort, were excellent!

    Include a walk around the island to get the feel of its fabulous location. We put the ambience before our food expectations - breakfasts were generous, lunches were our most enjoyed and the dinners relaxing with Thursday happy hour, local musicians playing and the location adding to a great holiday. A great Resort particularly suitable for young couples with as much or as little activity available as one could wish for.

    Location close to the airport and other posher hotels, beachfront basic villa with everything we needed. Yummy delicious breakfast delivered to the door, airport transfers. The staff even cleaned the beachfront, more than some of the others do! Nice friendly host. Couldn't fault the place. Would definitely stay there again.
