The hotel is located in a small village on a place in a nostalgic building. There is a nice courtyard and the hotel has also a resuarant, where the breakfast is served. The 3- or 4-bed room consisted of 2 separate rooms, divided through curtains. The first room was bigger than the second and we had a private bathroom, which was outside of the sleeping rooms, due to the architecture of the building. The personnel was very friendly and welcoming. We loved the rich breakfast. There is a parking lot for guests (which is a little bit hidden, when you arrive from the street). This place is good for a rip with a car, visitng that region and the Maggia valley.

Modern, very good size room, immaculately presented, super bathroom. Everything good quality. Extensive breakfast choice. Dinner in restaurant excellent. Very stylish yet understated hotel which, for us, did everything well. The staff, without exception, were brilliant. There are a lot of hiking routes from Tegna or from places which can be reached easily by bus or train within 30 minutes from Tegna. I do not like to stay in cities when I go for hiking. Tegna is a nice peacefull little place. If you miss a busier city you can get from Tegna to Locarno in less then 20 minutes by train.

In your quotes, please list the location as Ponte Brolla, not Tegna. We got off the train from Domodossola one stop too early (Tegna) and had to walk the rest of the way – not far, but about fifteen minutes.

Tegna is a small village without major tourist attractions.

Tegna is a small village without major tourist attractions. It's an excellent starting point for hikes into the valleys, easily accessible by local train and bus – free with the Ticino Ticket – for example, to Valle Maggia or Val Verzasca. It's also very well located for day trips to Locarno or Ascona by train and bus. The hotel offers peace and relaxation.

A charming hotel and wonderful owners. Check-in was friendly, the room was spotless, clean and nicely presented, the breakfast was outstanding and exceedingly generous, and the location was perfect... literally across from the (very) local rail line and a short walk to a couple of lovely restaurants.

It’s nice simple hotel right by a bus stop that takes you into Locarno every 30 mins. The staff are lovely, the bed is comfortable and the room and bathroom are very clean. Despite it being on the road, the room was quiet at night.
