Everything! The location is unbeatable, the terrace is privileged and the view breathtaking. Great to have breakfast (plenty of options) and dinner (delicious) every day. The rooms are simple, comfortable and clean. There are no additional facilities but what else do you need when you have such a beautiful place and plenty of activities all around?! The staff was welcoming, very kind and friendly. Lot of (public and paying) parking space at the entrance of the village, 100m. max. from hotel.

I've known this place for over 30 years, and I keep...

I've known this place for over 30 years, and I keep returning for shorter or longer periods. It's a beautiful plateau with a breathtaking panorama, and the village itself remains very authentic and architecturally cohesive, free from any eyesores. There are many excellent hiking trails in the area, offering wonderful opportunities for excursions. It's a peaceful and rejuvenating place.

A historic and picturesque village, its buildings and gardens are very well preserved, with enchanting views of the Bondasca Valley and Pizzo Badile. It's also an ideal starting point for hikes in the Bregaglia Valley. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Although the town is very small, there are many places to see and hidden corners to photograph. Art exhibitions can be seen inside small old buildings. The garden of the Hotel Palazzo Salis is a marvel.

Soglio GR is well worth a visit.

Soglio GR is well worth a visit. It lies on the sunny side of the Bergell valley. From here, you can embark on numerous hikes and day trips. Returning to Soglio is always possible using free public transport. In the small shops, you can buy regional delicacies and handcrafted items. The restaurants serve delicious seasonal menus (all day long). In mid-October, chestnut festivals take place throughout the area.

Soglio is one of Switzerland's most beautiful villages. It's also a place where famous artists have been inspired. It's also the home of a prominent noble family that made its fortune supplying soldiers to foreign powers. Their palazzo stands in the heart of the village. The natural beauty is breathtaking.

Soglio is a small small town up on the mountains. The hotel was lovely with super friendly and funny gentleman ar the check in counter. No question left unanswered with help and attention. We could walk out our front door into the town, down the tiny convvle stone streets. Included dinner was delicious with no complaint, breakfest as well. A special hideaway in the moat beautiful town in Switzerland

The meals (dinner and breakfast) were great. The hotel offered a good choice of food options for guests needing gluten free options. The location is superb. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. You feel very spoilt by the Swiss hospitality.

The location was exceptional with striking views of the mountains. We could walk from the hotel which is always lovely. I loved it when they served breakfast out of doors. The garden was one of the loveliest I have seen in Switzerland.
