What a lovely lovely hotel in Sargans. Its like a hidden gem.. the rooms are quite big.. great shower.. and amazing views. The Bfast is sumptuous and most importantly the host is so kind. We were talking in different languages and yet understood each other :). I will highly recommend this hotel if you have to stay in Sargans as the base.. there is a bus stop right opposite the hotel which is a great plus point as I had to go to the station quite often for my connections across. Will def. come back if I have to be in Sargans again.. no second thoughts!!

As I had injured my foot, we were offered a room in the castle to save me walking so far for meals etc. our room was spacious with a balcony and superb view. The staff were very obliging, friendly and happy - we felt very at home here.

The Hotel was functional and in a good location. We booked a table in the restaurant for dinner. When we arrived we were told that the table was already booked and that we would have to dine in a soulless room upstairs. Having looked at this room, we declined and went elsewhere. The staff were particularly frazzled due to a carnival, but this shouldn't have happened and was not well dealt with. The breakfast was a bit underwhelming the following morning, so perhaps they did us a favour.

One of the cleanest hotels we've ever stopped in, the room was absolutely spotless. Comfortable bed, good TV, good shower although could have done with a shower curtain to help stop getting water on the floor. Amazing location, Sargans is beautiful, surrounded by mountains. Some very pretty typical Swiss buildings, a castle and a couple of lovely churches. Staff, friendly and efficient. Lots parking, easy to find.

I last stayed at the Hotel Post more than 30 years ago. It was good then. It is brilliant now. A lovely quiet room with a very comfortable bed, so effectively sound-proofed that I could hear nothing of a party (including a drummer) that was in a nearby function room. A good en-suite bathroom. An excellent smorgasbord breakfast. A restaurant with an extensive menu. And very pleasant and helpful staff.

Clean and comfortable room, great breakfast, one bus stop away from Sargans station and 20 mins by bus from the Pizol cable car station. Coop supermarket just across the road. Welcome drink was a very nice touch
