We stayed here for 8 days for a mixture of work and leisure. The room was extremely spacious, tastefully and well designed, and ultra modern, with a lovely bathroom and rain shower and generous cupboards. The kitchenette was small and bare bones in terms of supplies but had everything we needed to prepare several dinners and lunches, as well as teas and coffees. We appreciated having the balcony with Matterhorn view and even got out our binoculars a few times to observe the helicopter flying around it. Because we were working on some days we also appreciated the reliable wifi and the multitude of places to sit (desk, dining table, outdoor balcony table, several chairs and stools). We were blown away by the amazing breakfast buffet – we imagined in an apartment hotel it wouldn't be so good, but because it's the same company as the neighbouring Arca hotel, it was amazing with heaps of variety and top quality food. Was a real treat to start every day in that breakfast room! The reception were extremely helpful with several questions we had and the cleaning staff were friendly too.

Very nice aan idyllic place if you like to relax and hike. Great place to roam around and visit other places from there. Zermatt was a bit disappointing, but it was also off season. Nice for an afternoon, but beter to stay in Randa.

Quiet surroundings for your accommodation.

Quiet surroundings for your accommodation. A good starting point for skiing in Zermatt, which is easily accessible from here. A short train ride will take you to the heart of Zermatt, where you can pick up your skis and boots at the rental center and then take the bus or train to your starting point for a day of skiing.

You don't need a car there.

You don't need a car there. From the train station, you can easily reach Zermatt by train, among other places. There are also very beautiful hikes directly from Randa, for example to the suspension bridge, Europahütte, Domhütte... There are no grocery stores or restaurants in Randa.

The flat is located in Randa, down the valley from Zermatt. This means that everything is accessible but you do not have the noise and bustle of Zermatt, this was good for us. Public transport is brilliant, you can buy a multi day pass at Randa that covers most journeys on the trains and cable cars. The flat is spotlessly clean, stylish and with great facilities. I loved the sunny balcony with Mountain View’s after a days walking.

To call this hotel exceptional would be an understatement. They welcomed us after a last minute booking late at night, treated us to an exquisite dinner, and kept us entertained with conversation. The room was very clean and comfortable, the location brilliant for hiking, and so our stay was purely wonderful. If we could give a 20 point review instead of 10, we'd go for that. Thank you again to the hosts!
