We had an excellent stay in the Boutique Hotel. It is only two stops away from Zurich Airport on the number 10 tram, and just a 5mins walk from this stop. The staff are so helpful, friendly, enthusiastic and couldn't do enough for us. We enjoyed the banter with Pinot, who told us where we could eat out. Everything we needed is a short few minutes walk away. Restaurants, Pharmacy, Coop (and Denners) food shops. The rooms were modern and clean, coffee maker, fridge (2 bottles of water left in the fridge each day). The included breakfast was first class. Choice of cereals, fruit, cheeses, meats, eggs and breads. We were greeted and served with a friendly smile. We would highly recommend a stay in the Gate Boutique Hotel. John and Martina, Ireland 🇮🇪

As I arrived late and left early, not too much to tell other than this is a superb transfer option for Zurich airport. Of particular importance is the airport shuttle, which is a major boon with late arrival and early departure.

    Close proximity to Airport, just a station away from airport and Tram stop is across from hotel. On a previous visit I stayed in the hotel adjacent to airport but this is more affordable for budget conscious travellers who catch morning flight without hiring a taxi just by using tram.

    Well flew into Zurich Airport and stayed at budget hotel, ideal for traveling around . Lots to discover when in Zurich city. You have to play your day also get a tram pass for your stay. You can hope on and off a points and places you would like visit. Visiting the old city Zurich was highlight. Tram drive down to the main hub was very nice as you went pass all different buildings. Lots to see and eat, also if you are looking for history old buildings old footpaths through the old city was great. You have to be fit. As a tourist I will be heading back. Would like to spend more time walking around the churches and find all the hidden gems in it. Enjoyed the festival that w as in the old part, main squre was great pipe bands and drummers🎉🏆

    Ibis Budget hotel was nowhere near the hotel for walking.

    Ibis Budget hotel was nowhere near the hotel for walking. Taxi was 17 Swiss Francs and it wasn't until daylight that the tram was best option. Do take a tram (and get on the correct one) into Zurich proper and wander around - we found a lovely cafe called Raffael's that I would highly recommend.

    Not a great part of lyric to stay in if you're just there overnight. Yes, it's relatively close to the airport, but not close enough to walk there. And, it's a little bit Shady at night. There is prostitution visible on the streets.

    The customer service answers quickly we called mostly every day to ask silly questions and they answered, the room is small but perfect for the couples, bathroom’s door was transparent so u must have an ultimate relationship with ur partner 😆but everything was perfect. The location is far from the center but just right next to train station it takes seconds to walk for it , we had a car but we used the train twice and it was coming frequently and it takes around 20 minutes to get to the center u want even feel it , i found it very comfortable and cozy and perfect for its price it has supermarkets and restaurants near by and open for late hours which was perfect for us when we come home hungry, i totally recommend it

    The hotel is close to the airport, and the room was clean & modern. The breakfast was lovely and overall my stay was very satisfactory. I would stay here again next time i have a short trip to Zurich and need to be close to the airport.
