By beside train station which was great for early berina express train! Easy walk to old town, christmas market. There are also supermarkets and food nearby. Parking available right at the doorstep. Top notch service by the staff especially Fabio and Lina. I left something important in the room and checked out on the way to other cities in Switzerland and Fabio and team tried very hard to contact me and went out of the way to deliver the parcel back to me safety and quickly. Cannot thank the team enough, didn't expect such helpfulness and hospitality. Highly recommended if you are visiting Chur.

A great place to stay for a night or two. The bathrooms were shared for the whole floor but everything was perfectly clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was excellent.

The beds were super comfortable and location was superb. Lots of light in the spacious room and comfortable temperature. Even had a large desk which provided lots of counter space. We were allowed to check in hours earlier which was very much appreciated. Breakfast was a lavish affair in a lovely room with views of the streets. Staff was exceptionally helpful when my husband had to go to the hospital. The bar in the lobby along with the seating looked very welcoming.

Very comfortable, well located hotel. The rooms were quiet, even though the hotel is near a roundabout and road. The staff were very helpful. Breakfast was nice and there was a varied choices of food and drinks.

    I only had two short, separate overnighters so tired on arrival. I would have liked more time to explore the old town in daylight and also visit Arosa by train. The cathedral is beautiful and a must see. My sense of direction is poor but google maps made it easy to orientate myself.

    A nice place with a lot to see.

    A nice place with a lot to see. The old city is very clean and very lively, shops, people, little places, squares, little niches to rest, a nice urban settlement. There is also a very nice roman ruins place well protected by an incredible structure designed by the famous architect Peter Zumthor, who is local and had been doing a lot of projects in the area for the last 40 years, or so. It is worth visiting Chur for many reasons then!

    Great cable car trip up the mountain with amazing views and good walking. Several good cafes/restaurants to enjoy. The old town is simply amazing and walking round both day and night was special. Excellent choice of eateries in the town. Pretty amazing to see children properly equipped and picking up litter in the town.

    Easily enough to fill a couple of days prior to catching the train to Italy. Loved the open air pool, the cable car and the walk back to the city from the top of the mountain. Chur is worth a visit, but it struggles with the relationship between the old and new parts of the town.

    It’s picturesque and nice to walk around.

    It’s picturesque and nice to walk around. The highlight was the Bündner Kunstmuseum which was fantastic. Eating options a bit limited, and opening times of restaurants / shops seemed a bit hit and miss. Chur is very expensive.

    Great stopover for joining the Bernina Express.

    Great stopover for joining the Bernina Express. Old town easily reached and completely walkable. Shopping opportunities seemed good, but were closed on the public holiday while we were there. Eateries were mostly open and we had a great meal. Just a reminder, this is Switzerland and things are comparatively 'very expensive'. Quality is good though.

    The hotel has the best location in the historical part of Chur 3 minutes from the train station. On the main bus route and train to Arosa. It's warm and welcoming. It's a budget hotel all the others were far too expensive for us as a family. Yes you share toilets and showers with other rooms but they are clean.

    This Hotel is so convenient that we are stopping there anytime we are traveling through Switzerland. Moreover the restaurant is excellent, providing typical Swiss cuisine and a selection of local wines. The cheese is fantastic - try it for the breakfast !

    Yes there were ringing church bells but where can you go in Switzerland for no bells and they go off at 10pm. Bed was good, it was hot no air-conditioning but on the 4th floor we had nice evening breeze. Great location. Fridge nice bonus.

    This is a nice historical hotel in the center of the old city of Chur. It is close to the church, and you can also take a walk to the high ground passing the church to have a good view of the whole city. A morning walk is recommended.
