Attractive, comfortable lodgings in a beautiful waterfront location. It is in walking distance to the town of St Andrews in one direction and some pleasant walking trails in the other. The owners were very helpful. We enjoyed this, our second stay, and we will return.

We had a great three day stay at Captain Dan's modern cottage. the cottage was terrific in all aspects: spacious, bright, quiet, well equipped, good location, keypad entry, lovely deck and garden. Parking was on site, wifi was strong, shower had good pressure, washer and dryer came in very handy. Comfortable beds, quality linens, plentiful towels, immaculately clean. Captain Dan was a good communicator which made everything very easy. Highly Recommended.

I believe that even when you decide to go far from home and want a bit of a change from the everyday, you still want the comfort and warmth of home. That's exactly what my friend and I felt. The two hosts made us feel so welcome, we immediately felt like members of the family. Always available if we needed anything and super open to talk to us/recommend things. Their story with Montague Rose Inn is very inspiring, the place is beautiful and perfectly located. We hadn't even left that we wanted to book to come back during the summer. Sincere thanks to the little family and Mapu (their cat), for this unique little stay. - Myriam & Claudia.

    The island is awesome... lots of sights to see....

    The island is awesome... lots of sights to see.... The people treat you like family. getting around the island is very easy as wqell as crossing into the USA is very easy and accessible. Definatly an island you want to visit with its rich history and connections to USA.
