My mother and I stayed here for a few days and loved it. The room was clean and comfortable and the breezy balcony was a bonus. Very walkable to everywhere in town. The general layout/many of the rooms would be tricky for people with limited mobility.

The town and park were absolutely amazing.

The town and park were absolutely amazing. We hiked Red Rock Canyon, visited Cameron Lake and took the International boat tour. They were wonderful. We say black bears and elk. We had amazing food at Wieners and the Taco place. Great coffee at Tamarak. We can't wait to visit again. Next time we hike the Bear hump.

I like the location being out of the town center.

I like the location being out of the town center. The free bus tickets allowed us to easily and conveniently access the downtown facilities without the congestion of physically being located there. The only negative was the unit not being air conditioned. It was not an issue after about 5 PM, but was a bit uncomfortable at some points during the day.

Waterton Park is my favorite place in the entire world!

Waterton Park is my favorite place in the entire world! Every time I go, I try somethings new to experience. It is so relaxing and beautiful! You could fill your day with adventures or just sit by the lake and enjoy the surroundings. I typically go every year or every two years. I am always sad to leave.

What I liked the most about Waterton Park was the incredible views and the walkability of the city. We stayed at the Bayshore in one of the updated lakeview rooms which was great. The shops along the main street had a good variety of merchandise and food options. The Park had a good amount of tours and trails that were nearby. What I didn't love about Waterton Park was the difficulty to find parking mid-day before we could check into our hotel, there was alot of people visiting the park and it is quite small so it was quite congested when we first arrived (not as bad as Banff though).

Beautiful scenery, the boat trip to goat haunt on the international boat was fun . The hike to Bertha lake was amazing. The lake Cameron -Alderson to Waterton town site (12)miles was one of the best. Next time Crypt lake..the Canadians were friendly and fun to visit with. The ice cream cones were a hit with the kids so was the food ie taco bar, the wiener place and the pizza!! The prince of wales hotel stands above Waterton is beautiful. We saw lots of deer, and 5 black bears. The kids thought that was the best.

The views are absolutely breathtaking.

The views are absolutely breathtaking. We visited during the first week of June, when the local shops were just starting to open up — though most closed early. We had a few rainy afternoons and several windy days, but it was still a perfect time to relax and unwind. There weren’t many tourists around, and the trails were peaceful with only a few other people. One of the highlights of our trip was spotting a bear with two cubs!

Hotel exceeded my expectations. Spending two weeks in the Canadian Rockies, this was the only hotel that I thought was a good value. All other hotels were priced high for a very average experience. The location is excellent, the room was good, and we were able to get a good nights rest.

The hotel was in a great location, walking distance to restaurants and shops and right by the lake. The rooms had balconies, had a few choices of restaurants, rooms were a good size.
