Famous for their name, it's no surprise that the Ritz-Carlton is considered one of the best hotels in Montreal. Situated in downtown Montreal, it's a great place to book if you plan on visiting the area. From the staff, service, room and cleanliness, you'll have a near perfect experience and if there's any issues, don't hesitate to contact the reception. I'd also like to give a huge shout out to Arlene who emailed me before our stay to see if I needed anything extra. She made sure our stay would have a little extra touch to make it even more special - something none of the other hotels in the area do.

Situated right in the heart of the old town, it offers the convenience of stepping out directly into the beautiful Vieux-Montréal immersed in its historic charm. Although the furniture may not be the latest style, this was no concern for me. The overall comfort, the perfect location, and the exceptional service the front desk staff provided more than made up for it. Overall, my stay was flawless. Conveniently located within walking distance to Latin and French quarters, Subway station, many restaurants close by including the hotel restaurant specialising in Ethiopian cuisine. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful with all our inquiries. The room was very comfortable and had en suite cooking facilities with all utensils and appliances. Would definitely stay here again.
