The University of Queens has a beautiful sprawling campus...

The University of Queens has a beautiful sprawling campus very close to Lake Ontario. There was a vibrant downtown due to the student body and tourists. The restaurants were plentiful if not a bit expensive.

A beautiful small city nestled on the shores of Lake Ontari.

A beautiful small city nestled on the shores of Lake Ontari. Impressive military history. We enjoyed the trundle tour of the town and environs. Loved the icecream parlour on the sea front near the information centre. Almost too much!!!! Coffee and Company cafe had us returning for delicious coffee and spinach and feta pie. Sooo good! Walking around the shore and pretty treelined treets was a relaxing way to enjoy our time there. Autumn leaves were gorgeous.

Lots of restaurants to choose from, pretty town, Fort Fright at Fort Henry is awesome. This city is worth a 2nd or 3rd visit for sure. Hwy 2 from Brockville to Kingston is very scenic, worth the extra time. Lots of nice buildings to look at.

A must visit the Kingston Penn and Musem . Visit the Musem first then go on the tour of the Penn. Cruise of the island was alright . We went on the three hour tour. The entertainment on this cruise was enjoyable. Thank you. Where to eat top rated Manadrian Buffet excellent. Dennys on Bension poor service they ran out of food, salad and soup , this was at 730 pm. Go to one eye jacks excellent food and service. From our location Comfort Inns on Bension was easy to get around.

It was hot, and Kingston was not planned as a primary stop.

It was hot, and Kingston was not planned as a primary stop. We would have liked to go to the waterfront, as we have done before, and take a boat cruise, followed by dinner. The problem is that it is so busy now and finding a parking space is problematic.

This is a basic student residence, so no frills, but it's summertime so rented to guests. Price was right. It's in a reasonable location but you need a car. Near a large park and the St. Lawrence River. Easy parking and access. It's half a block from King Street which goes eight minutes to downtown, and the university where some attractions are also, like the Kingston Pen tours, museums and good restaurants.

Although not within walking distance of downtown Kingston, it was just a short 10 minute drive to city centre. The neighbourhood was quiet and when our entry code didn’t work on arrival, there was someone to assist us. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. It was also very nice to have a private bathroom. For the price, it was an excellent deal and we would definitely return.
