The person I first dealt with, was not exactly friendly,...
The person I first dealt with, was not exactly friendly,especially when I came back to let him know we weren’t staying in a room that stunk of weed.. he didn’t even apologize,just wanted to know if I wanted to cancel the reservation. I told him that I wasn’t cancelling, but wanted another room. I complained to the manager in the morning, but I would not recommend this hotel to travellers.

Really didn't stay long enough to give a full evaluation, but there seemed to be good facilities in the town to just about satisfy most needs. Little concerning as we must have heard major sirens (could not see front and our room faced a hill) at least 5 - 6 time thru the night.

The hosts were more than accommodating and welcoming. My partner and I were sorry we only had the one night stay. From the greeting at the door, the cozy room and bed, to the quick breakfast before we headed out - we were blown away. Highly recommend all those considering to book your stay in Castlegar here.

The breakfast offerings were better than anticipated. Berries and whipped cream to top the waffles were a huge highlight for our son when we stayed last week. Unfortunately, based on the cut-corners with cleanliness discovered during our stay this week, we decided not to eat anything prepared by the hotel
