Very surprised at the owner and managers attitude in not offering any compensation for the missed breakfast. We agree that the alert was outside their control but we paid for B&B not just “Bed”. We should have been willingly offered some form of compensation for our new additional costs at another facility. Very poor customer service!

Such a beautiful area! So much to see.
Such a beautiful area! So much to see. We visited Elliston to view the Puffins & were not disappointed. They are so cute! The walk to the viewing site was a bit of a hike but I use a cane & succeeded with the kind & spontaneously offered help from fellow travellers.
We met Wilbur Hobbs, a local shop owner/artist/sculptor & bought a gorgeous, intricately carved moose carving.
The Bonavista lighthouse was a walk down history lane with a very informative guide. The views were spectacular & had the added bonus of Puffins.
We drove to Trinity a village well worth the visit with beautifully coloured houses, several shops & a great restaurant.
This was just a fraction of the attractions but alas time was limited.

Good restaurants, especially The Quintal. Pretty town.
Good restaurants, especially The Quintal. Pretty town. LIghthouse and puffin viewing are terrific. Ryan National History site definitely worth an hour or two. Skerwink Trail between Trinity and Bonavista is amazing!

I'm not sure about other tourists, but I strongly suggest bringing a good pair of high-powered binoculars if you want to view the puffins clearly. We would have been disappointed if we hadn't done so.

Bonavista Puffins and whales tour was awesome, first mate Barry was awesome!
Enjoyed seeing the replica of the John Cabot but the building with the flying birds and their poop is not nice. Loved the walkability of the town and Church St food choices. Enjoyed Ragged rocks and the Bonavista brewery.

We didn't know what to expect when we booked this location and I can tell you that it exceeded our expectation. The location was amazing across the street from the ocean and a very short drive to restaurants. Trails and Cape Bonavista Light house was just a short 5 min drive. The bedroom was beautifully kept and super clean. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you needed to make food. Herb and Janice were always available to answer any questions you had. Thank you Herb and Janice.

Aggie was a generous and delightful host. We don't normally stay in b and b's,but staying with Aggie enhanced our visit to Bonavista. She was warm and welcoming, as was her house... and she gave us great information on where to eat as well colorful stories of growing up in the community.. Her cooked breakfasts were excellent too. We would stay again and recommend. Meeting newfoundlanders is one of the best things about visiting Newfoundland.

Great location with a beautiful deck to sit outside in the evenings and get the last of the sunshine. We were lucky to have icebergs floating past during our stay.
All of the furnishings are very well appointed and beautifully decorated and the kitchen has almost everything you need. We especially loved the amazing washer/dryer !
Excellent location for exploring Bonavista. Communication from the host was excellent.

We loved the view and how cute the cabin was. We only booked one night but wished we stayed longer. This was my first trip to Newfoundland and by far Bonavista was my favorite spot.

Bonavista is a lovely coastal town and The Russelltown Inn collection of renovated, heritage homes fits the the community so well. The decor and attention to detail was excellent.
