Emerald-coloured Forests and Turquoise Waters
Paraty is surrounded by emerald green forests attached to mountains that plummet directly into turquoise waters or white-sand beaches. The cobblestone streets and colonial houses of the city centre pay homage to its Portuguese roots, and accessible islands and secluded beaches lure the sun-seeking crowds.
White buildings decorated with colourful door arches and window surrounds line the small lanes of the historic old town. The 17th-century First Church of Our Lady of the Remedies watches over the shaded eastern meeting point of Matriz Square.

It's an absolutely gorgeous place. There are many beautiful beaches, but the crown jewel is the sea, where you can find dozens of wonderful islands and beaches reached only by boat, so this is a mandatory tour. Freshly made Brazillian cheese pastries- absolutely delicious! Very friendly employees, we were even driven to the bus station at the end of our trip.
