Amazing city.
Amazing city. Good distance from Belo Horizonte, easy access, despite a very bad 35km stretch leading into the city. Great leisure options... there's a nice little beach and the beach tennis court across the street is quite interesting. Excellent selection of good restaurants (2002, Guanabara, Bistrô Figueira and others), as well as good bar options.
